Account and Data Deletion

Option 1: Inside the app

1. Open the El-Ghazoly Laboratory app and sign in.
2. From the home screen, tap Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap the delete account button.
4. Confirm. Deletion is immediate.

Option 2: Without the app

Email info@elghazoly-lab.com or message +20 109 037 9322 on WhatsApp with the phone number your account is registered with. Requests are completed within 7 business days and confirmed to you.

Data deleted

• Your account and login data, including phone number and name.
• The link between your account and your patient record.
• Registered device push tokens.
• Notifications and report-view history.
• Ratings and feedback linked to your account.

Data retained

Lab test reports are part of the patient's medical record held by the laboratory and are retained for the period required by applicable medical record-keeping laws and regulations, as for any patient who never created an account. They are no longer visible in the app after deletion. Past home visit requests, including the name, phone number, address and prescription photo if provided, are retained by the laboratory for follow-up and records, unlinked from your account. You may also request their deletion by email.
